This piece situates a crumbling female figure amidst representations of the modern United States, suggesting a connection between the treatment of women, the environment, and modern society. Represented in relief tile around a base reminiscent of a clawfoot tub, are tiles depicting the smoke plume billowing off the spilled toxic chemicals from a train derailment in East Palestine Ohio in 2023, the twin towers, and the skylines of Boston and Cleveland.
