It combines my contemporary self and the essence of my grandmother, from my clearest memory of her. A memory in which she would sit at her kitchen table putting curlers in her hair, while I did the same sitting next to her on the floor of the kitchen we shared. It invites viewers to reflect on how inherited qualities—both celebrated and challenging—shape who we are, underscoring the lasting impact of family on our sense of self.
