Statement

Specializing in lively multimedia illustrations, my diverse portfolio features works characterized by organic textures, vibrant color palettes, and an eclectic fusion of inspirations from antiquity, kitsch, and the natural world. The goal is to captivate viewers with a blend of humor and aesthetics, crafting pieces that draw them in with vividness, amuse them with cleverness, and challenge their perception of the world. I view my art as a vessel for communication; by working with recycled materials and illustrating the often unrepresented, I see myself as an advocate for the planet and its people. The joy of transforming ideas into visual narratives, both personally and collaboratively, has been a rewarding and motivating force in my art. In the same vein, my art becomes an extension of my personality. My illustrations embrace the strange, aiming to reflect not only my own identity but also the vibrant tapestry of my community. By combining and juxtaposing recognizable things in an eclectic way, I celebrate the inherent quirks that form the foundation of my identity with lightness and whimsy.
