Krissy Whiski is a visionary artist living and working among the Amish in Lancaster County Pennsylvania. As a self-taught artist with synesthesia, Krissy’s work offers a unique perspective, exploring the unseen and translating it into vivid visual experiences that connect audiences to a shared sense of wonder and gnosis. Using heavy-bodied acrylics, neon paints, and UV-reactive mediums, she creates pieces that investigate the intersections of philosophy, metaphysics, nature, and the human condition, offering her audience more than just a painting— she seeks to provide experiences that open the door toward deeper investigation, altering and expanding perspectives. In addition to her studio practice, Krissy is passionate about environmental stewardship and community building. Her art is a bridge between worlds inviting viewers to explore ties that bind us all. Through her work, Krissy Whiski seeks to inspire curiosity, foster connection, and remind us of the unseen magic we often overlook.
StatementAs an artist, my journey didn’t begin with a paintbrush—it began with sound. Ever since I was a child, I’ve seen colors and shapes dancing through the air whenever I heard music or voices. At first, I didn’t realize this was different; it was simply how I experienced the world. My life has been a journey into understanding, the deeper connections and patterns that weave through the universe. Through my art, I aim to bring people together by showing that we are all interconnected in ways we may not always see. My art is about awakening, connection, and the realization that we are all part of something much larger.
Through my art, I invite others to explore the liminal spaces where the self dissolves into the cosmos, reminding us that we are both the dream and the dreamer.
I am not this body.
I am without form, beyond time and space.
